La Côte Junior competition – October 4-6, 2019

The Association La Côte Flûte Festival‘s main purpose is to promote music and flute in the region of La Côte as well, in Switzerland and abroad through an annual festival and activities throughout the year.

Following the previous successful edition of the Festival, the need to create its own junior competition became more and more crucial, as to give to young flutists from all around the world the opportunity to participate to an event that will motivate them to invest in their musical studies. The competition offers a concrete target and awards their individual efforts through prices and personal advices from the jury. The competition also allows young players to perform in front of a jury composed by renown musicians and a warm audience.

A flute choir workshop will also give opportunity to the competition participants of all levels to perform alongside young players from other countries during the award ceremony.
