Omar Acosta Trio

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Carlos Franco studied bongó with Ramón Mayora, theory of music at Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory and Symphonic Percussion at the Jacinto Lara Conservatory of Music in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, with Antelio Alejo, Pablo Gutiérrez, Iván García and Edgar Saume.

In 1987, he entered the Lara Youth Symphony Orchestra and later he moved to the ranks of the Lara Symphony Orchestra, giving concerts in several countries such as Brazil, Spain, France, Mexico and Curazao.

Since 1998 he currently lives in Madrid, and is teacher at The School of Music and Dance of Las Rosas, leading the Latin Percussion and Instrumental Orff.
