Justyna Adamczyk, flûte

Justyna Adamczyk was born in Siedlce (Poland) in 1993. She began her music education at age of seven. She attended the primary and secondary Music School in Siedlce, in Mrs. Wioletta Skup’s flute class. She then continued her education at the Stanislaw Moniuszko Secondary School of Music in Walbrzych, in Mr. Cezary Traczewski’s flute class. She is studing flute at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in the Faculty of Instrumental Music at the moment.

Justyna has participated in several courses so far. She has had masterclasses with: Peter Lukas Graf, Feliks Renggli, Robert Winn, Dejan Gavric, Michael Cox, Philippe Benoit, Alexandra Grot, Seiya Ueno, Lukasz Dlugosz. Justyna is the winner of the number of flute competitions such as the VI Nationwide Winds Competition in Warszawa (1st Prize 2004), the XII Regional Winds Competition in Biala-Podlaska (1st Prize and Grand Prix 2009), the IV International Woodwinds Competition in Wroclaw (2nd Prize 2010), the Marian Katarzynski Nationwide Flute Competition in Sosnowiec (1st Prize and special Prize for the best performance concert 2011), the Giovani Strumentisti International Competition in Povoletto, Italy (1st Prize 2011), the X Nationwide Spring Flute Festival in Sochaczew (1st Prize 2011), the International Flute Competition in Jastrzebie Zdroj (3rd Prize 2012), the Davorin Jenko International Competition in Belgrade, Serbia (1st Prize 2014).

She obtained the scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2011/2012) and from The Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2013/2014). She also has participated in many orchestral projects with Pomeranian Philharmonics, Symphonic Orchestra of Plock, Capella Bydgostiensis and  Symphonic Orchestra of Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. She was a participant at the ‘Otwarta Filharmonia Agrafki Muzycznej’ in 2010 (orchestral workshops for young musicions) and at the European Festivals of Yougth Orchestras ‘Eurochestries’ in CherenteMaritime (France).
