From tale to tale: This original children’s/didactic show is based on the text of three of Perrault’s fairy tales: Sleeping Beauty, Ricky of the Tuft and Tom Thumb, linked together by the voice of the actor and the music of the wind quintet. The instruments play a classical wind quintet repertoire, apt to underline the atmosphere of certain moments of the fairy tales. Through the use of the instruments as the ‘voice’ of certain characters: for example the clarinet portrays the bad witch; the piccolo, the good fairy; the flute, the effect of love; the horn, the ogre and the king edit, and so on. Children are lead to learn and recognize the instruments of this ensemble.
