Vega Ensemble
The Vega Ensemble, created in 2014 by the Brazilian soprano Daniela Vega, brings together five musicians from multiple horizons. The ensemble performs regularly in concerts all over Europe with an eclectic repertory searching to explore new forms of artistic expressions.
The Brazilian soprano, Daniela Vega, began her studies at São Paulo State University then perfected at the Karlsruhe Hochschule in the class of Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll. From 2010, she has sung in different festivals around the world. She was prize-winner of the Baden-Württemberg Kunststiftung and the L-Bank Musikstiftung in 2013. Daniela Vega is also a dance enthusiast and holds a diploma of the Royal Academy of Dance in London.
Born in Lyon, Martin Bosse-Platière was successively pupil of Sophie Dufeutrelle, Michel Lavignolle and Gionata Sgambaro before studying with Benoit Fromanger at the Hochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin as well as with Renate Greiss-Armin at the Karlsruhe Hochschule. He worked under the direction of conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Neeme Järvi, Philippe Jordan, Jonathan Nott, Andrey Boreyko, François Xavier Roth and Kristjan Järvi. Since 2014, he is co-soloist of the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Hsu-Chen Su left to study in 2004 piano and Liedgestaltung at the Hochschule Franz Liszt in Weimar, then in 2010 with Hartmut Höll and Mitsuko Shirai at the Karlsruhe Hochschule. Recently she played at the Rheingau Musik Festival in Germany and at the Davos Festival in Switzerland. She currently lives in Karlsruhe in Germany.
Born in 1991 in Saint Petersburg into a family of musicians, Vasily Bystrov began his studies on piano and cello at the age of five. He was successively pupil of Anatoly Nikitin, Matias de Oliveira Pinto and Catalin Ilea. He continues his violin studies currently with László Fenyö at the Karlsruhe Hochschule. He performed solo with numerous orchestras, such as the State Academic Orchestra St. Petersburg and the youth orchestra of Mariinsky. Vasily has participated in masterclasses of Mstislav Rostropovich, Alexey Selesnev and Martin Ostertag.
Shinichi Minami was born in 1984 in Japan. He studied percussion from 2010 à 2014 at the Karlsruhe Hochschule in the class of Isao Nakamura. Since then, he has taken part in numerous musical projects in Japan and abroad. He has played several times as soloist with the Orchestra Kanazawa. As of 2012, he is a member of the percussion ensemble “Trio KAI”. Shinichi Minami is prize-winner of the Heinrich Hertz Foundation and of the Culture Fund Baden e. V.
