PREAMBLE

The proposals must be submitted between April 15 2019 and June 30, 2019 at midnight. Only proposals sent through the online form will be considered. No telephone or email will be exchanged with the direction of the festival, its employees or the members of the artistic commission.

It is possible to submit several proposals.

ARTICLE 1 – PROJECTS

La Côte Flûte Festival is a convention as well as a festival. The event takes place for the flutists and for the music lovers. The projects will be chosen among those who correspond to these two logics, and who will be able to interest the professionals as well as to the general public.

La Côte Flûte Festival programmers wish to present varied projects, varied in style, formation (from solo flute to orchestra, chamber music, varied instruments, from baroque to contemporary, jazz, alternative projects and contemporary creation).

The project will take place during the four days of the event, between 8:30 and 5:00 PM (masterclasses and workshops in the morning, concerts in the afternoon). The evening concert will be subject to personal invitation only.

ARTICLE 3 – FLUTISTS

The projects will be considered with care, if they present a traditional or innovative repertoire. Your project will be considered if it follows the logic of the programming, and depending on the availability of time sloths during the event. Concerts, oral presentations, masterclasses and workshops, pedagogical projects, commercial showcases will be considered.

ARTICLE 4 – COMPANIES

Companies in the field of music can submit proposals for 30 minutes showcases to present their activity. These presentations are not remunerated or financially compensated, and the costs related to their setting are at the companie’s charge, in particulat artist’s fees and logistics costs.

ARTICLE 5 – TWO ROUNDS

The selection will be done in two rounds. The resulst of the first round will be announced after July 31, 2019. The final choice (second round) will be announced after March 31, 2020.

The submission deadline is June 30, 2019, at midnight. No communication will be done with the candidates before August 1, 2019, except in the case of mission information in the submission.

No recourse is possible once the application is refused for the first or second rounds. The deicision of the artistic commission are final.

ARTICLE 6 – FESTIVAL COUNTERPARTS

A fee will be given to all of the invited artists.

This fee will be set in March 2020, before the results of the 2nd round.

  • 1 festival pass is offered to the invited artists
  • 2 meals per day are offered to each invited artist during the whole festival (8 meals), at the festival restaurant only.
  • Lodging during the whole festival, for a maximum of 4 nights. Only nights at one of the official festival hotels will be taken in charge; no lodging in another hotel will be considered, unless it is less expensive.
  • Travels are reimbursed upon justification, for a maximum of 250.- CHF per person.
  • Participants th the jam session are not financed.
  • Every invited artist is invited to the VIP reception.

ARTICLE 16 – RGPD AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the European rules onprotection of personal data, you have a right to query, to access, to modification, to opposition and to rectification on your personal data.  By accepting these general condition, you consent to our collection and use of these data for the execution of the present contract.

ARTICLE 17 – APPLICABLE LAW

All Clauses in these terms and conditions, as well as all linked operations, are subject to the swiss laws.
