Academy open to flutists and chamber music ensembles (all instruments)

Invited professors

A true residence for high level students, The La Côte Academy offers a complete training to an artistic life, on the form of artistic modules.

The academy is aimed at:

  • flutists
  • chamber music ensembles (all instruments)
  • modern instruments
  • historical instruments
  • academical level students
  • professional musicias
  • young talents of music schools (to be recommended by their professor).

Artistic modules

The students will have compulsory modules and modules at choice:

Compulsory modules:

  • flute masterclasses (flutists)
  • chamber music masterclasses (ensembles)

Modules at choice:

  • aubmented flute workshop, and preparation of a concert
  • breathing and warm-up workshop
  • theater and declamation workshop
  • improvisation workshop
  • improvisation on an ostinato bass
  • early music on historical or modern instruments
  • interpretation workshop with a pianist accompanist
  • creation of a show with the ensemble Caravelle
  • creation of a latino american music concert
  • preparation of the final concert of the Ensemble La Chimera

Concerts

Small concerts will take place during the academical week in Nyon and Prangins.

All the students will participate to concerts during La Côte Flûte Festival – October 5-8, 2023
