Competition for amateurs

7th Amateur competition:

  • Participants: Flutists age 21 and more, amateurs with no flute degree. High level students are not accepted.
  • Categories: solo flute – flute and piano – flute in the ensemble
  • repertoire: two complete works of differents styles; free choice
  • 1st and 2nd rounds: 10-15 minutes

Grolloo Flute Session 1 is a week of inspired music-making and vibrant exchange of ideas for advanced flute players in Grolloo, The Netherlands.

Grolloo Flute Session I is seeking to give the advanced player an opportunity and platform to analyse and develop her/his playing in an atmosphere of openness, respect and curiosity. Participants will be able to experiment, take risks and grow, while benefiting from observing and absorbing the energy and approach of their colleagues.
