After having obtained her diploma of modern violin in Tokyo, Madoka Nakamaru’s passion for baroque music led her to Belgium where she studied baroque violin with Sigiswald Kuijken at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. She obtained a MA degree for baroque violin in 2009. As freelance violinist she gives concerts, plays for the radio and makes recordings with various groups from Europe or Japan.

She is invited as concertmaster to Hildebrandt Consort, Ensemble Apothosis, Concert d’Anvers and to other groups such as B’rock, Bach Collegium etc…She also devotes herself to chamber music with several formations and different repertoire in order to search music in a personal way and to explore historical performance practice together with her colleagues. Furthermore, she creates special stage collaborations between music and other arts such as eurhythmy or poetry.
